Details have been confirmed for Norwich City's FA Cup meeting with Blackburn Rovers, with the game set to kick off at 2pm on Sunday January 8, 2023.

The game has been selected for overseas broadcast and therefore occupies the Sunday afternoon slot.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's side will travel to Carrow Road for the second time in just over three weeks, with the Championship fixture between the teams taking place at 5:30pm on Saturday December 17.

City reached the fifth round last season, beating Charlton Athletic and Wolves to earn a clash with Liverpool that they lost 2-1 at Anfield. Rovers crashed out in the third round, losing 3-2 to Wigan Athletic in their only match in the competition.

The Lancashire side are six-time FA Cup victors, but haven't won the competition since 1928. Norwich have reached the semi-final three times, most recently in 1992, but never progressed beyond the last four.

The sides drew 1-1 the last time they met, Kenny McLean's opener for Norwich cancelled out by a Sam Gallagher equaliser in the 77th minute.
