Norwich City academy goalkeeper Dylan Berry has signed a new contract with the club a year after moving to Carrow Road.

Berry was signed from Northampton Town in the summer of 2021, and has impressed with the Canaries' under-21s in his first season in Norfolk.

That earned the 19-year-old a youth loan with National League side St Albans City, where he's impressed with his recent performances, earning two clean sheets in six league appearances.

He told official club channels of the new deal: "I'm very happy, I feel like I've worked hard to achieve this. The hard work will keep going.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next and hoping to progress into the first team eventually. It shows that they appreciate the work I've put in and they see that I'm committed.

"I started playing in goal when I was about 14 at grassroots level before going on to Northampton Town, and then thankfully got picked up by Norwich.

"I'm hoping to play as many games as I can with St Albans for the rest of my time there, and hopefully I can impress.

"I've been really enjoying it. I've played seven or eight games and really enjoyed the different style of football to the Under-21s game. I've had a couple of man of the match awards so I'm really enjoying it."

Berry has played 16 games for Alan Neilson's under-21s, conceding 31 times and registering one clean sheet.
