2. Slice and Dice, 10-12 St Benedicts Street

With 317 games available, this plant-based coffee shop and cafe, which is also dog friendly, welcomes gamers of all abilities.

For a four-hour session, there is a £5 cover charge, with members receiving 50pc off this by paying an annual £25 subscription.

If you want to enter the gaming community, learn a new game, or meet some fellow gamers, head along to their Social Gaming event, which occurs every month on the first and third Wednesday, between 6pm and 10pm.

3. Artel, 67 London Street

Embracing the creative community of Norwich, this cafe thrives on using independently based producers, with ingredients that are all sustainably and locally sourced, in all their food and drink.

They celebrate the talent of Norwich, through working with businesses and creatives, to create unique events, such as their ‘Illustrate a playing card’, which they held in October.

4. Carberrys, 18 Wensum Street

Have you met Toby the Retriever? This cafe, which opened in 2016, has gained its fame through its most famous pooch, gaining them the nickname, ‘the café with the dog’.

Come down to meet the famous pup, get a taste of their homemade cakes and try their speciality drink – a mocha with a scoop of Italian gelato.

5. Sahara, 67-69 Magdalen Street and 24 St Benedicts Street

With two shops in Norwich, these cafes are a taste of cultural celebration from the heart of North Africa.
