David Wagner had his say on the key issues ahead of Norwich City's trip to Middlesbrough on Friday.

City travel to Teesside looking to record a win that would push them into the top six for the first time since December.

Wagner spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon at Colney.

Here is what he had to say.

Fitness updates - Rowe and Nunez

Nothing has really changed except, as I predicted, Jonny Rowe is back in training without any issues. It looks like Nacho (Marcelino Nunez) will be back in training next week, whether it will be the beginning or the end, we will see but he has recovered pretty well.

(Rowe): He has been out quite a while and hasn't done an appearance this season. It is a big boost for him. He is a nice guy and a good lad who is very positive. We are happy that he is back in training and we will see what happens in the near future if or when we decide to use him.

Update on Grant Hanley

He had his surgery on Tuesday. It went very well. Now we speak about several months which he needs after surgery on a rupture which he had. I would love to have all my players healthy, but this isn't the case.

It doesn't make sense to worry about it or moan about it. It is how it is. It is part of the game.

Unfortunately, it happened. Unfortunately, it happened at this stage of the season. Unfortunately, it happened in a short period of time when a couple of them got serious injuries.

Now it is time to step up and fill the gap. One or two of them have a great opportunity and they have done great to be fair. If we look back at the last two games without these three senior pros, the squad responded very well.

Sometimes in situations like this it can bring a group closer together and create more energy. It looks like this has happened to us.

Hopefully, we can continue at Boro away. Difficult place to go; everyone knows this but we are excited. We have proven in the past that we can do this. Millwall away was a difficult occasion - Blackburn and Stoke away as well. Boro will be as well. We are looking forward to it. We are excited for it. We will see what we can get out of it on Friday.

Message for City Women ahead of Carrow Road game

Enjoy. Enjoy every second. Hopefully it will not be the last time. Embrace the occasion and enjoy what you face. It will be a good afternoon for everyone - hopefully they make the result as well.
