Norwich City have struck a six-figure deal to sign Hamilton Academical youngster Gabriel Forsyth.

That's according to reports in Scotland, with the Daily Record suggesting that the clubs have thrashed out a deal worth £150,000 that will see the 16-year-old move to Carrow Road this summer.

It adds that there are significant clauses and add-ons built into the deal that would see Norwich owe to Accies depending on various circumstances such as making a first-team appearance for the Canaries.

The 16-year-old has made professional appearances for Hamilton this season and featured regularly for their academy side alongside caps for Scotland U17.

Hamilton suffered relegation from the Scottish Championship last season and are being forced to sell talent with young midfielder Josh McDonald also set to leave to join Leeds United.

Norwich have dealt with Hamilton in the past - most famously moving to appoint Alex Neil from the Scottish club in 2015, as well as signing Tony Andreu and Jon McCracken from New Douglas Park.
