A national street food chain is hoping to open its first Norfolk restaurant in a former Norwich bank.
Pho Vietnamese Street Food is planning to open at 5 Queen Street in the former home of a Royal Bank of Scotland branch.
The chain would offer its signature pho bowls, which are the national dish of Vietnam, along with a selection of salads, noodles and curries if its planning application to Norwich City Council is successful.
Its closest site is currently almost 60 miles away in Cambridge.

Planned opening hours are yet to be announced but it is thought the site would follow similar hours to its Cambridge site which opens from midday to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday and until 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
The plans come as numerous new restaurants and takeaways plan to open in the city including Taco Bell and Tortilla.
If approved work would see Pho install a wall-mounted illuminated menu box along with other signs at the site, which is next to the Revolucion de Cuba bar and restaurant.
Those wishing to comment on the application have until November 2 and it is hoped a decision will be made by December 6.
