A new shop is planning to open in the former home of a Norwich city centre Mexican restaurant which has stood empty for more than two years.
Lightea, which specialises in bubble teas, is hoping to open at the former Nanna Mexico site in White Lion Street after the restaurant closed in August 2021.
It comes after Nanna Mexico quit the site in controversial circumstances, filing for liquidation after it owed about £18,000 to Norwich Consolidated Charities.

According to a planning application submitted to Norwich City Council, the drinks business is hoping to install a "shipping container pattern" to the front of the building with projected LED lighting and painted branding.
Menu boards are also set to be installed in the premises which will have a yellow colour scheme.
New plans come amid a flurry of planned openings in the city centre including Pho Vietnamese Street Food, Taco Bell and Home Bargains.
Those wishing to comment on plans have until November 2, with hopes a decision will be reached by December 7.
