Alex Neil wants one more striker to top off Norwich City's summer transfer business, after completing a deal for Nelson Oliveira.

City's lengthy pursuit to attract firepower has paid off with the signing of the Portuguese international for an undisclosed fee from Benfica - which the club confirmed on Tuesday morning - having been frustrated in previous attempts to land Ross McCormack and Steven Fletcher earlier this summer.

Neil has been linked with a host of frontmen at home and abroad, including ex-loan signing Dieumerci Mbokani and former Sunderland loanee Dame N'Doye, and the Scot is not ruling out one final flourish at the top end of the pitch ahead of Wednesday's 11pm deadline.

'If I could do another one (striker) then definitely. If we got an opportunity to bring another one in we would try to do it,' he said. 'I don't think you can have too many centre forwards who can score goals.

'Thereafter it would depend on if we had any departures, and I am not expecting there to be many, if any, then we would need cover in that area. I think for every club the final days of the window will be the same as it always is. You have six months to do your work and then everyone seems to want to do it in the last two days.'
