Alex Neil insists Norwich City do not lack Premier League match-winners to prevail in a relegation dogfight.

City have now failed to score in three consecutive top flight defeats that leaves them two points from safety ahead of Manchester United's weekend visit. Nathan Redmond waged a personal crusade against Arsenal's Petr Cech in Saturday's battling 1-0 defeat at the Emirates, but the young midfielder is not Norwich's sole threat for Neil.

'There is no question he can be a potential match-winner,' said Neil. 'Wes Hoolahan the same on his day, I think Cameron (Jerome) last season was excellent and he was a real threat (at Arsenal). Dieu Mbokani is a handful and can score goals. I would take John Ruddy going up and being the match-winner, to be honest, anyone to put the ball in the net and make a difference. We have a lot of players who can that difference. I believe my players are still as confident as I am and they should take a great deal of confidence from the Arsenal game. No-one can say we are not up for the fight now because we have lost a few games, because they were saying the opposite prior to this. That is just nonsense.'

Jermain Defoe is spearheading Sunderland's survival bid and Andros Townsend was on target for Newcastle last weekend, but Neil felt City's latest outing in north London proved the Canaries are not suffering any hangover from the Black Cats' recent 3-0 Carrow Road victory.

'The response shows that is firmly out of our system and we are completely focused on doing well between now and the end of the season,' said Neil. 'The Sunderland game, we didn't actually play badly, we were totally dominant for 30, 35 minutes. A few decisions went against us, in terms of our own ones and the officials. We made a silly decision and we gave away a penalty. I felt at the time it was harsh but looking back it was probably the right decision. Then we started the second-half well, hit the post and got caught at the wrong end of the pitch.'
