While on their pre-season tour in Germany, Canaries players had money stolen from their hotel.

Thieves have stolen cash from Norwich City footballers while on their preseason tour of Germany.

The team's hotel room was broken in to while the Canaries took on SC Paderborn.

In a post on Twitter and Instagram, Yellows defender Timm Klose shared a picture alongside Marco Stiepermann saying 'The moment they've told you that whilst you were playing they robbed our hotel.'

According to reports, the hotel are carrying out an internal investigation into the theft and the police will be involved.

Norwich City claimed a 3-2 victory over the North Rhine-Westphalia club in their midday match on Sunday.

Forward Dennis Srbeny scored the equaliser in the 51st minute while Teemu Pukki secured the win in the 58th and 62nd minute.

They will now face off against Union Berlin on July 17 at Stadium Laumeskamp Delbruck.
