There was high drama at Colney for the second consecutive week with visitors Fulham taking all three points in a seven-goal thriller - and along with it the FA Premier Academy League title by a single point from Southampton.

Just as they had done against Spurs the previous week, Ricky Martin's side made the best possible start, going a goal up after just five minutes when Jamar Loza curled a shot beyond goalkeeper Grant Smith.

Their lead lasted all of six minutes before Fulham drew level with a glancing header from Caviey Woodrow, and after a quarter of an hour defender Josh Passiey rose above the City defence to head Fulham into the lead.

It was certainly a breathless start to the game and Fulham might have added to their score but both Stephen Arthurworrey and Omri Aitman were denied by the woodwork.

Shortly afterwards, Josh Murphy saw an effort crash against the crossbar before a moment of madness on the stroke of half-time, when both sets of players were involved in a scuffle. One player from each side was booked by referee Pearse but he was not so lenient with Passiey, who was shown a straight red card.

Down to 10 men, Fulham took just 10 minutes of the second half to extend their lead when Ryan Williams fired past David Wootton with City guilty of giving the ball away.

The Canaries were thrown a lifeline on the hour when they were awarded a penalty that Michael Clunan scored.

The game was finely poised and it was City who stunned the visitors with an equaliser, a header from Theo Jones on 70 minutes.

Both teams went all out for the win and Fulham secured victory and the title on 85 minutes when Aitman slotted the ball into corner.

There was still time for Norwich to try to spoil the celebrations, but Clunan's 25-yard effort was superbly turned aside by Smith.
