This former Norwich City scholar emerged as a vital cog in Norwich City's promotion to the Championship and contributed over 20 goals in the process.

Career:

Luton Town (loan, 08-09): 49 starts, plus 2 as sub, 13 goals.
Crystal Palace (loan, 11-12): 22 starts, plus 6 as sub, 7 goals

Total: 71 starts, plus 8 as sub, 20 goals.

Martin went out on loan to League Two side Luton Town for the 2008/09 campaign, scoring 13 goals in 51 appearances. He was a key part of the Luton side that won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy beating Scunthorpe at Wembley, scoring Luton's first in the 3-2 extra-time victory.

The striker formed an impressive trio with Wes Hoolahan and Grant Holt, who combined scored 67 goals in 2009/10 as City gained promotion back to the Championship.

Martin looked to continue that partnership, making a further 30 appearances for the club, scoring four goals in City's 2010/11 promotion winning campaign to the Premier League

Martin spent the majority of the 2011/12 season on-loan to Championship side Crystal Palace.
