Coach Keith Webb has the rare luxury of being able to name an experienced squad for this evening's Premiership Reserve League encounter against Chelsea at Carrow Road (7.30pm).
Webb has been forced to rely on youngsters for much of the season and has seen his team struggle as a result, but he will have as many as nine professionals to call upon for this attractive looking fixture.
City's first team has a settled look to it right now so a number of players are in need of a game, and most of the men who failed to make the starting line-up against Derby are likely to see some action tonight.
Leon McKenzie will get another outing after stepping up his comeback from injury on Saturday while the likes of Simon Charlton, Jason Jarrett and Jurgen Colin will also be involved.
Dickson Etuhu will get a game too if he recovers from a mild bout of flu and there could also be a run-out for Paul McVeigh, who has been restricted to a substitute's role in recent weeks.
While those players will all be looking to top up their match fitness Jason Shackell and Ryan Jarvis will be aiming to take another step on the road to a first team comeback after lengthy spells on the sidelines.
"It's good to have so many professionals available - it's like going from one extreme to another," said Webb, who was forced to supplement his team with Easton College students in City's last home fixture, which Arsenal won 5-0.
"We had a good crowd last time and they didn't see a very competitive game but it should be different this time around and hopefully we can put on a good show for them."
Norwich Reserves (from): Lewis, Colin, Charlton, Rossi Jarvis, Etuhu, Shackell, Spillane, McKenzie, Henderson, Ryan Jarvis, McVeigh, Fisk, Cave-Brown, Howlett, Eagle, El Ouargui, Arnold.
