City's first victory of the season has grabbed the imagination of fans with a bumper crowd expected for the first midweek home game.

Saturday's 2-1 success at Plymouth, coupled with the prospect of a home debut for new signing Antoine Sibierski, prompted an extra 300 ticket sales yesterday morning alone for the visit of Queen's Park Rangers tomorrow (7.45pm).

With up to 1,200 Rangers fans expected to turn up, the Canaries are hoping to hit the 25,000 mark.

“Business has been brisk and certainly more vibrant than for the first two home games,” said Andrew Cullen, City's director of sales and marketing.

“A combination of both teams winning at the weekend and the signing of Sibierski means we expect to be busy during the course of today.

“QPR have an allocation of 1,400 tickets and we're told they are likely to bring about 1,200 supporters.”

The visit of QPR in April brought a crowd of 25,497, the biggest home gate of 2007-08.
