Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries' 3-2 Premier League loss to Chelsea.

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's troops, who showed plenty of guts to hit back twice but were undone by Chelsea's quality and collective urgency for a first win under Frank Lampard.

- Tim Krul

Fantastic one-handed parry to foil Andreas Christensen. Touch unfortunate Tammy Abraham's winner went through Grant Hanley's legs. 7

- Max Aarons

Costly error when his rushed clearance under intense pressure was re-cycled for Mason Mount to slot, in a razor-sharp Chelsea turnover. Abraham's penalty box movement was also too hot for him to recover on the opening goal. 6

- Grant Hanley

Lost his bearings against Abraham for the match-winning strike and had no luck with the finish through his legs. Questions to be asked why the striker was left unattended for his opener as well. 5

- Ben Godfrey

Thumping header against the post would have been a headline-grabber. One or two vital interceptions/blocks when Chelsea threatened. 8

- Jamal Lewis

Struggled positionally on occasion with the sheer speed of Chelsea's movement. Needed quicker back up on the overload for the opening Abraham goal. One or two attacking forays that led to nothing. 6

- Tom Trybull

Second best in that central mix with Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho. Looked uncomfortable when facing opponents keen to up the intensity and press. Repeat of Liverpool in that regard. 6

- Moritz Leitner

Caught in possession in the first half but bailed out by Godfrey. That underlined how vastly difficult this game was in comparison to Newcastle's invitation to let Leitner dictate proceedings. 6

- Emi Buendia

Key dart for the first City goal. Assist for the second. Influence waned along with the rest of his team mates following the interval. 7

- Marco Stiepermann

Plenty of industry to try and disrupt Chelsea's passing but on the periphery in the attacking third. One vital far post headed clearance in the first half but decisively beaten by Christensen minutes later. 6

- Todd Cantwell

A landmark Premier League goal. Got the drop on Ross Barkley with a near post run. Saw plenty of action in City's best spells but also showed a willingness to support Jamal Lewis in the second half especially. 7

- Teemu Pukki

One assist. One goal. Perfectly timed run and then enough power on his angled strike to beat Kepa Arrizabalaga for his fifth of the season. Denied by the keeper in the second half just prior to Abraham's winner. 8
