Norwich City’s on-loan attacker Diallang Jaiyesimi is going right to the top, according to his boss at League Two leaders Swindon Town.
The 21-year-old is spearheading the Robins' title charge during a season long loan stint and was impressive again in Saturday's 2-1 promotion win against Exeter.
Jaiyesimi, who is under contract at Carrow Road until the end of the current campaign with a one-year option in the club's favour, has notched four goals in 18 appearances after recovering from an ankle injury in October.
Swindon chief Richie Wellens is backing the Canaries' starlet to play in the Premier League.
"I think he can play in the Premier League, 100%," he said, quoted on the Swindon Advertiser. "He's young, had a couple of loans and doesn't want to sit in Norwich's U23s. He wants to get out, work, graft, improve and play under pressure - they are all big things.
"His last four games have been excellent, in spells he has been unplayable - it's outstanding.
"If you find yourself in a one against one with him, Diallang is your worst nightmare because he can go either way and he is strong.
"If you try and get too close to him and fight him, he has a big backside and strong thighs and he'll just roll you. He's a super talented player and is improving too. It was tough when he first came in, but he is over that now and is flying."
