The Daniel Farke factor was a big pull for Norwich City new boy Josip Drmic.
The Swiss international free agent will officially link up with his new club on July 1, after agreeing a three-year deal to cut his ties with the Bundesliga.
Drmic felt the time was right to leave Germany, following a six-year stint, but had plenty of other offers before opting to join Farke's squad.
"We are on the same level," he said. "He is a very interesting person and I think he has done a great job and I am happy I can work with him.
"After six years in Germany, I'm looking forward to a new adventure. The Premier League is the best league in the world, with the best players. It's cool that I can now compete with them all."
Drmic re-joined his family on holiday in Croatia after completing the formalities of his move at Colney earlier in the week but is counting the days to the start of pre-season training.
The 26-year-old, speaking to Swiss daily newspaper Blick, has already cast his eye over the Premier League opening night fixture at Champions League winners Liverpool on August 9.
"It was a bit stressful to do all the tests when I first came here (on Sunday) and now it is finished it is amazing," he said. "I will give my best for my team mates and I hope they can invite into the family. The first game (against Liverpool) is going to be very hard but a good experience."
