Louis Lomas is the latest Norwich City centre back to commit his longer term future to the Canaries.
The 19-year-old, a regular at development level for the Canaries in Premier League Two this campaign, has extended his Carrow Road stay until 2021.
Lomas, who joined the club in 2017, follows in the footsteps of Akin Famewo who earlier this season penned a new contract.
The defender has yet to make a senior appearance but did score the winner in the 2-1 Football League Trophy group stage win at Crawley Town in October.
"I'm delighted to have the opportunity. I feel like the new contract gives me more time to show what I can do, and really gives me that hope of being able to achieve what I want to achieve," said Lomas, on the club's official site.
"I'm thankful that the club has put that trust in me by giving me such a chance, and I hope I show what I can do by reaching my full potential.
"I found out about the contract very recently actually, I wasn't expecting it so soon. I was excited to hear about it. It's always a bonus to know that the club want to sign you up on a new deal, so I'm not complaining.
"I think it's a good sign of my future at the club. Everyone sees the club invest in the youth quite heavily, which is clearly seen from the first team players like those four (Ben Godfrey, Max Aarons, Todd Cantwell and Jamal Lewis) who've made it through from the academy.
"I honestly believe that with the chances given, it's possible for young players to achieve, as shown in the first team."
