Ben Godfrey sealed his club record Norwich City move to Everton but there remains anxious hours and days ahead regarding the futures of Max Aarons, Emi Buendia and Todd Cantwell.

Godfrey was officially unveiled on Monday morning, after signing a five year deal to join the Toffees for an undisclosed fee.

Clubs have until 11pm this evening to seal overseas moves in or out but the domestic window will remain open for Premier League clubs to cherry pick Football League gems until October 16.

That guarantees fresh speculation around the most prized assets still in the building.

Now Godfrey has departed can City hold onto the remaining trio? Who is absolutely invaluable for the Championship push ahead and who could they afford to sell? Does Godfrey’s sale represent a piece of business too good to turn down and is Ben Gibson the man to soften the blow?

On the park, a second consecutive Championship 1-0 defeat posed more questions, and Daniel Farke has the length of the international break to find the answers.

Can City pick up the pace once the window is closed or do you still have genuine concerns regarding the make up and balance of this team?
