Przemyslaw Placheta is pledging to try and excite Norwich City fans, after the Polish Under-21 flyer sealed his Carrow Road move.
The 22-year-old admitted he is a huge fan of England and Manchester City’s world class operator Raheem Sterling - who the Canaries must try and stop in Sunday’s Premier League finale - after becoming the club’s second signing of the Championship fightback in recent days.
Placheta has signed a four year deal after completing his move from Slask Wroclaw for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance ahead of next week’s transfer window opening officially.
“I’m an offensive player who can play on both wings,” he said, speaking to the club’s site. “I like to run in behind the opponents and will try to do my best with the ball.
“One player I like to watch is Raheem Sterling, because he likes the space behind opponents like I do. He scores many goals.
“I want to play as much as possible in front of the fans. I think we will try to do our best in every game, fighting to win.
“This is the next step of my career and I’m happy to be here, so I will give my best for the team.
“The last few days for me were exhausting but I’m here and I’m happy.
“I spoke with the sporting director and he told me all the things about this club. For sure, I was certain that I would make the move to Norwich City.
“I saw that this is a team of young players, which is nice because we can be hungry for every game. We will try to do our best.
“I’m looking forward to playing in the Championship. I will do my best in training to fight for the team.”
