Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 2-2 Premier League draw at home to Tottenham

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who slugged it out with Jose Mourinho's high rollers in a pulsating affair set against the backdrop of another VAR intervention.

- Tim Krul

Excellent smothering stop from Harry Kane in the first half. Late tip over from Erik Lamela. 7

- Max Aarons

Full of energy again. Really seems to be enjoying his football since that Sheffield United lapse. Put on the after burners in one particularly eye-catching touchline dart, before he was slammed into the advertising boards by Lucas Moura. 7

- Christoph Zimmermann

Mixed bag. Miscued pass went unpunished by Dele Alli in the first half. A superb last ditch block foiled the same player after half-time but another all or nothing lunge ended with him toppling Kane, who crashed home the penalty. 7

- Grant Hanley (C)

Allowed Kane to escape into a dangerous channel once, but Tim Krul came to the rescue. But another overall display where he looked comfortable and, dare one tempt fate, a man playing pain-free after his injury layoff. 7

- Jamal Lewis

Got himself into a shooting position but failed to test Paulo Gazzaniga inside the first 10 minutes. Penalised for handball and then Christian Eriksen did the rest from the free kick. 6

- Alex Tettey

Given everyone else to the right of him jumped in the Norwich wall his decision to stay on the deck proved costly, as good a finish as it was from Christian Eriksen's free kick. 6

- Mario Vrancic

Race was effectively run when he suffered a nasty gashed tongue in a heavy collision early in the second period. But what preceded that was joyous. A calm, composed finish for his first in the Premier League. An assist over-ruled by VAR and a pass to Onel Hernandez that defied gravity. Bravo Mario. 8

- Emi Buendia

Pounced on slack play from Giovani Lo Celso to spring Mario Vrancic for the opener. Heavily involved in City's second as well. Another tick in the right box. 8

- Marco Stiepermann

Improvised stabbed early effort had Gazzaniga scrambling to his right. Decent physical presence before the tank emptied in the second half 6

- Onel Hernandez

Some of his most effective work came in defensive tracking back when Tottenham threatened down his flank. 6

- Teemu Pukki

Strange evening indeed, given he had a goal disallowed by VAR, and was enough nuisance value to Toby Alderweirweld and Serge Aurier for City's second goal. When the dust settled no addition to his own personal tally but another demonstration of his value to this team. 7

City substitutes

- Kenny McLean 5

Hindered badly by coming off worst in a heavy midfield challenge. Gave the ball away in a dangerous position but unlike Tom Trybull, no damage was done.

(for Marco Stiepermann, 70)

- Tom Trybull n/a

(for Mario Vrancic, 75)

- Todd Cantwell n/a

(for Alex Tettey, 86)
