Dundee United hotshot Lawrence Shankland is attracting attention south of the border - with Norwich City reportedly scouting the red hot frontman.
Shankland has plundered 21 goals in just 22 appearances for the table-topping Tangerines, who lead the Scottish Championship by a mammoth 14 points.
The Scottish Sun claim Norwich and Premier League rivals Everton have both watched the 24-year-old centre forward this season, with QPR leading a clutch of Championship clubs weighing up a possible January transfer swoop.
Rs' director of football, Les Ferdinand, was reportedly at Tannadice on Friday to watch Shankland in the 1-1 derby draw against Dundee - former City midfielder Graham Dorrans denying the leaders another win on their march to promotion with a second half equaliser.
Shankland is under contract until 2022 but has emerged as one of the hottest goalscoring prospects north of the border this season and scored his first senior international goal in October against San Marino.
City were touted with interest in Shankland's Dundee United team mate, Louis Appere, earlier this month while the likes of highly-rated youngsters Archie Mair and Aidan Fitzpatrick have previously been recruited from Scotland.
Norwich have relied heavily on Teemu Pukki's prowess in the first half of the Premier League campaign but with Josip Drmic (hamstring) ruled out until January and Adam Idah expected to seal a potential loan move next month in a bid for senior football, that leaves Dennis Srbeny as the only available back up to the Finnish frontman.
