Out-of-favour Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira has reportedly agreed personal terms to join AEK Athens.
Various Greek media outlets claim on Sunday morning a potential move is set to be completed in the coming days, with a three year contract on the table that could net the 27-year-old forward 2m EURO a year.
Oliveira was touted with AEK earlier this month, but no transfer fee for the Canaries is mentioned in the latest reports.
The Portugal international is wanted by compatriot Miguel Cardoso after playing no part in the Canaries' Championship title winning success under Daniel Farke.
Oliveira spent the end of last season on loan at Reading, during an injury-hit stint, and has been left behind in England with the likes of Ben Marshall and James Husband as Farke's squad step up their planning for the Premier League campaign with a week-long stay in Germany.
Oliveira was entering the final 12 months of his Carrow Road deal but has been surplus to requirements for the last year.
City have brought in Swiss international Josip Drmic and promoted youngster Adam Idah to join Dennis Srbeny and the prolific Teemu Pukki as attacking options.
Athens won the Greek title for the 12th time in 2018 but finished third last season, 23 points adrift of champions PAOK Salonika, and will now have to qualify for the Europa League.
That prompted them to bring in former Celta Vigo and Nantes boss Cardoso earlier this summer, who has previously held coaching roles at clubs in Portugal including Deportivo, Porto and Braga.
