Norwich City have scouted young Hull City midfielder Leonardo da Silva Lopes, according to reports.

Hull Live are suggesting that da Silva Lopes' positive run of form in the Championship has led to top-flight interest, with the Canaries and Everton both keen on the Portuguese midfielder.

Da Silva Lopes only joined the Tigers last summer from Wigan Athletic after being nurtured as a young talent by Peterborough United. He has become an influential figure in Grant McCann's plans this season.

The Tigers are said to have rejected a seven-figure bid for da Silva Lopes from New York Red Bulls as Hull fight to hold onto their prized asset.

He has featured 21 times for McCann's men this season, being deployed primarily as a central midfielder but also in the right-back position.

His energetic performances have seen him earn rave reviews and have helped Hull climb to 9th in Championship table as they continue to push for the play-offs.
