Norwich City’s new away kit has been met with ambivalence by supporters - mostly caused by the ‘petrol blue’ colour that has been used.
The Canaries have dedicated their new away shirt to key workers, with a number of those who have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 pandemic modelling the kit.
Each of the key workers featured in the campaign will be invited to Carrow Road on a matchday and will be presented with a commemorative shirt to thank them for taking part in the launch.
Some supporters have taken to social media to point out the closeness in colour to local rivals Ipswich Town - whilst others have described the colour of the kit as being different to that of City’s rivals.
The Canaries have worn blue shirts previously - including in the Uefa Cup run of 1993-94, when the third kit of navy blue shirt and shorts with yellow trim was worn during the 0-0 draw at Vitesse Arnhem
