Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has been named as one of the three poorest managers in the Premier League.

The Twitter account @360Sources = which has almost 124,000 followers - carried out the rankings... although it is unclear what their criteria is.

They have ranked the top flight’s managers from Elite, to Great, Good, Average and, finally, Poor, a category the Canaries sporting director occupies along with West Ham’s David Moyes and Graham Potter, of Brighton.

There is no suggestion any mitigating circumstances have been taken into account - for example, the horrendous injury crisis which Farke had to cope with on the early months of the campaign, and any comparison of transfer budgets available.

City fans won’t be the only ones scratching their heads: Wolves boss Nuno Espiritor Santo, who has taken his side to sixth in the table, is in the Good category, along with Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, whose side are 18th.

The rankings:

Elite: Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)

Great: Carlo Ancelotti (Everton), Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City), Chris Wilder (Sheffield United), Jose Mourinho (Tottenham).

Good: Eddie Howe (Bournemouth), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Nuno Espirito Santo (Wolves), Nigel Pearson (Watford).

Average: Dean Smith (Aston Villa), Ralph Hasenhuttl (Southampton), Sean Dyche (Burnley), Roy Hodgson (Crystal Palace), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manchester United), Steve Bruce (Newcastle).

Poor: David Moyes (West Ham), Graham Potter (Brighton), Daniel Farke (Norwich City).
