Skipper Adam Drury is battling to recover from a sore back in time for City's Championship trip to Barnsley on Saturday.

The Canaries' captain needed lengthy treatment in the early stages of Tuesday's 3-2 win at Luton after toppling over an advertising board.

Manager Peter Grant said today: “There was a four foot drop and Adam landed flat on his back.

“He decided to battle on, which was great for us, but he is suffering now.

“We will leave it as late as possible to give him every chance.”

Veteran Dion Dublin has not trained this week because of the calf injury he suffered at Preston and looks unlikely to figure at Oakwell.

Darren Huckerby is still battling to recover fully from calf and shin problems but played the full match at Kenilworth Road.
