Former Norwich City academy defender Kevin Lokko has earned another Football League chance.
The 24-year-old has signed for newly-promoted Harrogate on a two-year deal. Lokko featured regularly for Dover in the National League in the past two seasons and was captain during 2019-20 but was among a group of players released due to financial challenges.
The Londoner was an unused substitute during both legs of City’s FA Youth Cup final triumph over Chelsea in 2013 but left a year later after completing his scholarship, having featured regularly for the under-18s.
He initially joined Colchester United but didn’t feature for the first team. He joined Stevenage in 2017 and made two appearances in League Two before returning to the National League on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge and Dover.
Lokko has England C caps and joins Harrogate after their promotion to the Football League for the first time.
