Just four Premier League bosses are more popular than Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke on social media, according to an extensive study during the opening 10 games of the season.

BetVictor claim to have analysed over one million Twitter posts - stating that 70 percent of the tweets about Daniel Farke were positive, placing him fifth overall.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder leads the way with 78pc after a positive start to campaign for his boyhood club, ahead of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola (76pc), Liverpool chief Jurgen Klopp (74pc) and Graham Potter of Brighton (71pc).

Meanwhile, it's Arsenal's Unai Emery getting the most negative comments (75pc), ahead of Everton manager Marco Silva (67pc) and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino (62pc).

The study also includes the total amount of posts about each manager, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer way out in front with 291,675, ahead of Chelsea chief Frank Lampard (183,987) and Klopp (143,342).

Farke slots in at 13th in those stakes, with 6,540 tweets apparently featuring him as the subject.

The results are split up into further 'sentiments and emotions' as well, with Farke top of the pile for 'joy' with 55pc, ahead of Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson and Nuno Espirito Santo of Wolves (both 51pc).

The German coach - who recently took charge of his 100th league game in charge of Norwich and spoke about his reign so far - took charge at Carrow Road in May 2017 and led City to the Championship title last season.

A statement accompanying the study explains: "Data sourced from Twitter and includes official club hashtags, social accounts (handles), unofficial hashtags, the name and colloquialisms of clubs, manager names, variants on manager names, club location (e.g.: Manchester) and keywords commonly associated with each club."
