Craig Fleming will make his comeback against Colchester Reserves at Layer Road today after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 34-year-old Norwich City club skipper has been out of action since playing against the U's senior side at the end of October, but will make his first appearance since then when he lines up against their second string at Layer Road (2pm).

Manager Peter Grant will be eager to see Fleming prove his fitness to give him another option in defence as he has been forced to use Dion Dublin as an emergency centre back in recent weeks.

If Fleming can prove his fitness then it would allow Dublin to partner Robert Earnshaw up front giving Grant the chance to revert to his favoured 4-4-2 formation.

Ian Henderson will also make his return after recovering from medial knee ligament damage. The 21-year-old was the victim of a robust challenge from Rotherham's Michael Keane in the Carling Cup earlier this season and has undergone intensive rehabilitation to get back to fitness.

Matthieu Louis-Jean also continues along his long road to recovery as he starts his fifth reserve match in a row. The Frenchman has endured an injury nightmare since tearing his hamstring shortly after moving to Carrow Road in the summer of 2005.
