There will be plenty of familiar faces waiting to welcome Norwich City on their return to the Premier League.

There will be some players sliding in the other direction, with Alex Pritchard and Huddersfield relegated back to the Championship.

Josh Murphy has also followed with Cardiff but has already been linked with a summer move to Crystal Palace or Burnley.

But expect plenty of other reunions ...

BOURNEMOUTH

Andrew Surman is still going strong for Bournemouth and still under contract until 2020 with the Cherries. The midfielder scored eight goals in 58 games for Norwich and was a popular player during Paul Lambert's reign, helping gain promotion to the top flight in 2011.

He will turn 33 in August and has worn the captain's armband on several occasions for Eddie Howe's team this season, before a calf injury in March.

BRIGHTON

A 1-1 home draw with Newcastle on Saturday looks set to keep the Seagulls safe, with Cardiff four points adrift with two games remaining, but Chris Hughton is under heavy pressure.

The former Canaries boss secured promotion in 2017 and survival by seven points last season, but a recent run of seven games without a goal is testing the patience as fans question the level of progress being made.

BURNLEY

Irish winger Robbie Brady was sold to the Clarets for a reported £13m in January 2017, after 62 appearances and seven goals, but a knee injury ruined last season.

The 27-year-old has also been disrupted by injuries this season so has only played in 14 games.

LEICESTER

City's 2017-18 Player of the Season needs no introduction, after his remarkable season earned his big-money move to the Foxes last summer.

The 22-year-old has performed well in the top tier, with seven goals and seven assists from 34 games so far, and did make an England squad in October but was twice an unused substitute.

NEWCASTLE

Things haven't really gone to plan for Jacob Murphy since joining his boyhood club for around £12m in the summer of 2017, with City's academy product currently warming the bench at West Brom ahead of the Championship play-offs.

Under contract until 2021 so will hope for another chance to impress at Newcastle in pre-season, after just one goal in 41 games so far.

SOUTHAMPTON

There's a host of links at Saints, with former loanees Angus Gunn and Ryan Bertrand regulars alongside 2015 promotion winner Nathan Redmond.

Another former City loan keeper, Fraser Forster, remains out of contention and Harrison Reed is due to return from a season on loan at Blackburn. There's even City legend Craig Fleming and keeper coach Dave Watson on the bench.

TOTTENHAM

Canaries fans need little reminding of the disappointing spell of Harry Kane at City during 2012-13, failing to score in four games as injury ruined his loan.

Why? Because he's gone on to become a superstar for England and Tottenham, captaining the Three Lions to the World Cup semi-finals and scoring loads of goals along the way.

WEST HAM

Robert Snodgrass is another former Player of the Season still going strong, enjoying a renaissance with the Hammers this season, having been on loan in the Championship with Aston Vila last season.

Was sold to Hull for around £8m following City's relegation in 2014 but has nine assists and four goals from 38 matches in all competitions this season.

WOLVES

After being released in 2017, because of their top-level wages
as much as ability, John Ruddy and Ryan Bennett played key roles in winning the Championship title.

Ruddy has had to settle for cup action, as cover for Portugal international Rui Patricio, but Bennett has remained a regular in defence as the big spenders chase a seventh-placed finish.
