The Pink Un has been a must-have for football fans young and old for more than 100 years, firstly as a standalone Saturday evening football paper and more recently as a section in the Eastern Daily Press.

But in order to mark the launch of a striking new break-out magazine, we are giving away a free giant foam Norwich City hand with every copy of the magazine sold at the EDP/EN stand at the Castle Mall shopping centre.

Supporters wanting to sport the foam fingered freebie will be able to pick one up today and all next week at the stand in the mall and also at the Village Shop, Gurney Road, Costessey.

David Galletly, circulation sales manager, said: “The Pink Un is a much-loved brand to Norwich fans and we wanted to give supporters the chance to join us in marking this new era in the Pink Un’s history.

“We hope they will be a popular sight among supporters in these crucial final few weeks of the season, when the team will need a huge hand from the fans in trying to beat the drop.”

The first 140-page edition, which has hit the shelves, is guest edited by City legend Iwan Roberts. As well as a four-page question-and-answer session with the club’s third-highest ever goalscorer, this newspaper’s chief Norwich City correspondent, Paddy Davitt, is taking an in-depth look at the good, the bad and the ugly of an up-and-down season as it enters its nerve-shredding climax.

There are also contributions from City fans, a feature on Norwich legend Barry Butler, who died 50 years ago this month, a look ahead to the Euros this summer and a look back through our extensive Canaries picture archive through the years.

The Pink Un will also continue to provide the best coverage of City’s season every Saturday and Monday in the EDP.
