Summer signing Matthieu Louis-Jean only has an outside chance of playing again this season, manager Nigel Worthington revealed yesterday. Summer signing Matthieu Louis-Jean only has an outside chance of playing again this season, manager Nigel Worthington revealed yesterday.

The 30-year-old Frenchman hasn't been seen in the first team since the opening two games of the campaign, with a serious hamstring injury condemning him to a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

He is now well on the road to making a full recovery - but he isn't ready to play a game yet and might have to wait until pre-season before he finally sees some action.

“There's no prospect of him playing in the near future - and there's only a very outside chance of him playing again this season,” said Worthington.

“He is making nice steady progress - but it has got to be steady because of the nature of the situation.

“It was a bad one - and unfortunately for both him and us it's a long one.”

Right-back Louis-Jean joined the Canaries last June in a swap deal that took midfielder Gary Holt to the City Ground. He played in City's opening two games of the season against Coventry and Crewe but then lost his place to fellow new-boy Jurgen Colin and was able to play just three more reserve games before injury struck.

Norwich have announced ticket arrangements for their final three home games of the season.

Seats for the match against Leicester on April 1 will go on general sale from 9am today.

Members will have from March 27 to March 30 to buy tickets for the Easter Monday clash with QPR before they go on general sale, while the window of opportunity for the final fixture against Wolves on April 30 is from April 10-April 17.

Tomorrow's home clash with Sheffield United is a sell-out, with only a limited number of buy-back tickets likely to be available on the day.
