New signing Lukas Rupp has shown his ability on the Carrow Road turf before, with the Norwich City new boy setting up a goal for Borussia Monchengladbach in a friendly back in 2012.
The midfielder was in pre-season action in Norwich as the Canaries warmed up for the start of Premier League life under Chris Hughton, with Gladbach winning 2-0.
Rupp was introduce in the 72nd minute and, according to our report at the time, "split the Norwich defence" with a pass to allow Branimir Hrgota to slot home the visitors' second in the final minute.
It was the final friendly before City would travel to Craven Cottage to begin that top-flight season with a 5-0 defeat at Fulham, although Hughton would go on to guide his team to 11th place in the Premier League that season.
Gladbach had Marc-Andre Ter Stegen in goal that day, who has since gone on to be a regular for Barcelona and Germany, as well as midfielder Granit Xhaka, who would move on to play influential roles for Arsenal and Switzerland - with Gladbach going on to finish eighth in the German top flight that season.
Grant Holt, Robert Snodgrass, Jonny Howson and Russell Martin were among the Canaries players to face Rupp that day, with the 29-year-old now hoping to make more of an impact at Carrow Road after joining on a two and a half year deal from Hoffenheim ahead of Saturday's home clash with Bournemouth.
