Norwich City academy manager Ricky Martin is backing his young charges to shine on the big stage in tonight's FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie at Newcastle (7pm).
Martin wants his talented squad to savour the occasion in the magnificent surroundings of St James' Park with a last-16 place at stake.
"I'm sure they'll be a bit of excitement and a few nerves,
but we won't be overawed," he said.
"We've got lads with first team experience, who've played at youth international level. I'll be looking for our big-match players, the likes of Michael Spillane and Chris Martin, to step up.
"I was very fortunate to go to Old Trafford in this competition a couple of years ago. We scored first that night and it was a very special moment.
"Along with Newcastle I think those are probably two of the best grounds in the country.
"We've got a brand new bunch of players for this game and it's going to be a great adventure."
The Canaries' youngsters warmed up in style with a weekend 2-0 derby win over Ipswich.
"It gave us an indication the boys are there or thereabouts," said Martin.
"Dave Williams has got them right on the button. We looked sharp and determined. These lads were fortunate enough to have the Christmas period off but you can tell the Newcastle game has kept them so motivated and switched on."
The 18-man squad travelled north without Tom Miller after he was concussed in Monday's reserve friendly draw with Tottenham following a clash of heads. Norwich crushed Portsmouth 5-1 on the road in the previous round to set up tonight's mouthwatering clash.
"We can't score five every match, but hopefully Newcastle will be a little bit scared after seeing that result," said Martin. "If we can win them we've knocked out two Premiership clubs. I don't think anyone would fancy coming to Carrow Road. Potentially I believe this squad can go a long way."
Norwich City (from): Arnold, Rudd, Matthews, O'Toole, Spillane, Quaye, McLean, Bexfield, Kelly, Eames, Lathrope, Yong, Byrne, Martin, Muddel, Smart, Daley, Renton.
Ü Tickets for Norwich City's fourth round FA Cup clash at Blackpool went on general sale this morning.
The match takes place at Bloomfield Park on January 27, with the Canaries receiving an allocation of 1,800 seats (all uncovered).
Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £11 for OAPs and £8 for under 18s.
The City players will be wearing white shirts, green shorts and white socks for this fixture to avoid a clash with the home side.
Should the game be drawn, a replay would take place at Carrow Road on Tuesday, February 6, with a 7.45pm kick off time. For more details or to book tickets, call 0870 444 1902.
