Cody McDonald made sure City manager Paul Lambert needed no reminding of his appetite for goals as honours were shared in the first East Anglian derby of the season at Portman Road yesterday.

McDonald put City ahead after 24 minutes with his fourth in the last three games - a goal that owed as much to his refusal to give up a lost cause as the wicked deflection that took it past former City player Aaron Lee-Barratt.
