Ebou Adams and Louis Ramsay are among the nine academy players Norwich City have confirmed will not be getting new contracts this summer.
Midfielder Adams spent the first half of this season on loan at Shrewsbury in League One but after limited game-time has been a regular for National League side Leyton Orient since January, who are in talks to sign the former Dartford man permanently.
Right-back Ramsay is the only player in the group to have got close to the Canaries first team, as an unused substitute during an FA Cup replay defeat at Southampton in January 2017, but has spent the season on loan in the National League at Woking.
Versatile defender Michee Efete has also been released, having spent the season at the same level, with Torquay United.
The other players released are goalkeepers Fergal Hale-Brown and Jake Hallett, defender Owen Wallis, midfielders
Emersson Sambu and Giovanni Da Costa and forward Alan Fleming.
City’s academy manager, Steve Weaver, said: “We would like to thank all the players who are leaving the club for their hard work during their time with us.
“These decisions are never easy ones to take, but we took steps to ensure every individual knew their future at the earliest opportunity to make the process as straightforward as possible.
“We wish all those leaving the very best for their future careers.”
