Norwich City are one of a host of clubs scouting Belgium Under-19 international Brandon Baiye.

The Clermont midfielder is interesting the Canaries after a handful of appearances in Ligue 2. The Telegraph are reporting that Fulham, Genk and Levante are also monitoring the progression of the youngster.

The 19-year-old developed with Club Brugge in Belgium before sealing a move to France last summer. Baiye made his professional debut with Brugge in a 5–2 Belgian First Division A win over Eupen in 2018.

He has two remaining years left on his contract - but interest in England could excite the youngster.

Baiye has been capped at every level of Belgium’s youth level since Under-15, with his style on the pitch being compared to that of Chelsea midfielder Ngolo Kante.

The Canaries dipped their toe into the French market in January, recruiting defensive midfielder Melvin Sitti from FC Sochaux ahead of the 2020/21 season.
