Alex Neil confirmed after Norwich City's public trainiing session on Friday morning in Austria Polish club Legia Warasaw have made contact over a move for Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe.

Neil, however, is in no rush to make a decision on what he insisted would only be a potential loan move, with Odjidja yet to feature in any of City’s public pre-season games due to family reasons.

The Belgian international is now back with the rest of City’s squad, who trained at SC Pinkafeld with new signing Michael McGovern and the rest of City’s Euro 2016 contingent all taking part.

“No, I think there is an interest in Vadis. It wouldn’t be a permanent, it looks like they would be looking more a loan,” said Neil. “Obviously I still have to assess what I do with Vadis for next season and see where he is. Unfortunately for us Vadis had a family bereavement so had to miss a couple of the games and I would have liked to play him in those. The game on Saturday will be the first I get to see him in that situation.

“I know he can influence games in the Championship but I probably have 10 guys who can do that as well in the same positions as well. It is about the ones I think are going to be most effective.”

Neil confirmed City are still working on their own transfer targets ahead of Saturday’s tour finale against Rubin Kazan and flying back to England.

“If you look at the business getting done now a lot of clubs doing transfers are having to pay top dollar,” he said. “Newcastle spring to mind, although they are selling players as well as buying. They have spent a lot of money and recouped a lot of money. We are obviously trying to bring bodies in, there are bodies that will move on potentially, but it will take a little time. We hope it is sooner rather than later.”
