Norwich City’s new home shirt for the 2020-21 season has seen supporters draw comparisons with an old kit.

Despite the manufacturer Errea claiming the kit was a throwback to the 90s, supporters have been quick to compare it with the home shirt City wore in the 2011-12 season.

That kit saw an iconic kit release video that included legends Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan, with City looking to retain their place in the Premier League under then-boss Paul Lambert.

This year, the aspiration is different as the Canaries look to return to the top-flight with a Championship assault under Daniel Farke.

No kit is ever going to be met with complete approval, but the overwhelming response on social media has been one of positivity - with supporters pleased with the simplicity of the design.
