After almost two months of globe-trotting and resting up for the Premier League challenge, Norwich City's players returned to Colney today to begin their gruelling pre-season training regimes.
As social media users are all too aware, players make sure to let everyone know they are still working on their fitness while away from the club, to ensure any of their holiday excesses don't slow them down during pre-season.
From Moritz Leitner training hard against a picturesque backdrop of German mountains, to Kenny McLean in Dubai, Timm Klose in California or Emi Buendia in Ibiza - while Onel Hernandez also managed to squeeze in getting engaged while he was in Bali.
There's been no shortage of high-intensity fitness work finding its way on to Instagram since Daniel Farke's players won the Championship title at Aston Villa on May 2 - once the celebration hangovers had worn off, at least.
With today officially being the first day of pre-season for the Canaries squad, that work is set to ramp up with head of performance Chris Domogalla and the coaching staff in the next few weeks.
Canaries keeper Tim Krul, one of a clutch of promotion winners to sign a new contract during the off-season, posted a video on social media showing the impressive new buildings alongside the training pitches at Colney - as part of the modernisation work funded by the £5million raised by the Canaries Bond.
The Dutchman posted on Twitter: "Excited like a little kid reporting for the first day back at school. New season - new training ground #BringItOn #Preseason."
City have also posted some photos of some of the players arriving back at Colney to begin their pre-season programmes, with new signings Josip Drmic and Patrick Roberts both included.
Buendia, Klose, McLean, Teemu Pukki, Alex Tettey, Ben Godfrey, January signing Philip Heise and U23 goalkeeper Aston Oxborough were all pictured smiling in the sunshine as they met up with their team-mates.
The Canaries are due to fly to Germany for a training camp in the North-Rhine Westphalia region on Friday, July 12, with a friendly against Bundesliga II side Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday, July 14 (4pm local time).
A friendly against another second-tier side, Paderborn, was due to be played on Tuesday, July 16 but that has been cancelled and City are yet to confirm the other two intended fixtures ahead of flying home on Saturday, July 20.
Once back in UK soil there will be a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brentford on Wednesday, July 24 (4.30pm) and then another Championship side on Saturday, July 27 (3pm), away to promoted side Luton Town.
Two home friendlies against top-level opposition complete the schedule, against Italian side Atalanta on Tuesday, July 30 (7pm) and French team Toulouse on Saturday, August 3 (4pm).
Proper action then begins with a televised fixture away to European champions Liverpool on Friday, August 9 (8pm), kicking off the Premier League season
