Norwich City’s Josip Drmic is reportedly facing a legal battle with his former advisor over his move to Carrow Road last year.
According to Sport 1, “proceedings are underway” against the Swiss international striker, with Drmic’s former advisor Soren Seidel “filing a lawsuit” with the Düsseldorf Regional Court alleging he has been “deprived” of the commission he was due as part of the deal.
While Drmic’s move from Borussia Mönchengladbach last summer was a free transfer, Seidel claims he is owed a commission of €615,000.
Drmic’s stance isn’t made clear, but a verbal hearing has been set for Friday with lawyers for both parties set to attend.
Drmic, 32, has made 14 Premier League appearances, all as a sub, and scored one top-flight goal, in the 5-1 home defeat by Aston Villa last October, although in the FA Cup fourth round he scored the winner at Burnley and the equaliser at Spurs, in a game City won after a penalty shoot-out.
