Norwich can sign Lincoln's FA Cup hero Sean Raggett if they meet his £350,000 release clause.
The Canaries want to take the towering defender from the Imps but will need to trigger the clause in his contract, Press Association Sport understands.
Raggett is interesting a host of Sky Bet Championship clubs, with West Ham also linked, but Norwich remain in a strong position to sign the 24-year-old.
The centre-back helped the Imps to the National League title this year and played a key role in their shock run to the FA Cup quarter-finals.
He scored the late winner when the Imps stunned Burnley 1-0 in the fifth round – watch his goal in the video above – before they lost 5-0 to Arsenal in the last eight.
Raggett made 47 appearances for Lincoln this season, scoring seven goals, after joining from Dover last year and has 12 months left on his contract.
Raggett stands at 6ft 5ins tall and was with hometown club Gillingham as a trainee, with Lincoln claiming to have fought off competition from the Football League for his signature last summer.
Norwich also considered Lincoln boss Danny Cowley as they looked for a new head coach before appointing Borussia Dortmund U23s’ head coach Daniel Farke last week.
