Norwich City’s return to Premier League action has been confirmed - with the Canaries hosting the first game of the opening weekend following the restart.

The season is due to restart on June 17 with two ‘outstanding fixtures’ – Manchester City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield United.

That leaves all clubs with nine games remaining - and the first match of the opening round of games will be City’s home game against Southampton, which will kick off at 6pm and be televised on Sky. The match will be followed by Spurs v Manchester United at 8pm.

City will be back in action the following Wednesday, June 24, when they host Everton – kick-off at 6pm, and to be shown free-to-air on BBC.

City’s first away game after the restart is at Arsenal - they will travel to The Emirates on Wednesday, July 1 for another 6pm kick-off - to be shown on BT Sport.

City also have games against Brighton (home), Watford (away), West Ham (home), Chelsea (away), Burnley (home) and Manchester City (away) - with the club confirming the remainder of the schedule in due course.

City will host United in their FA Cup quarter-final - kicking off at 5.30pm, at Carrow Road on Saturday, June 27.

The Premier League fixture list has now been officially released and includes the games which are set to be played at neutral venues.
