The books have been on sale in shops for the past fortnight, available for just £1, and the 230 stickers that are needed by Canaries fans will be widely available from Thursday, September 26.

There are five stickers in each pack, available for £1 or for free when you redeem the vouchers which you will find every day in the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News.

The sticker book is a joint operation between Norwich City and Archant, the publisher of the EDP and Evening News, which will see the stickers available in local stockists, including the Canaries' official stores, East of England Co-op and One Stop shops.

David Powles, editor at the EDP and Norwich Evening News, said: "We know that Norwich City supporters have been champing at the bit to get their collections under way so we are delighted that we have managed to get stickers out there ahead of schedule.

"On a personal level I can't wait to reacquaint myself with the thrill of finding a shiny sticker in the pack and seeing my own two children enjoy filling in their sticker books.

"We've been delighted with the early positive response to this project and I'm looking forward to seeing how people's collections develop."

There are 230 stickers to collect, including 10 special shiny stickers of iconic images, all of the current City first-team squad and legends who feature in the club's all-time top 100 appearances or top 50 goal-scorers, as well as player-of-the-season winners and cult heroes.

David Freezer, chief Norwich City reporter for the EDP and Evening News, added: "A lot of love has gone into this very first Norwich City sticker book, to ensure it's both a celebration of life as a Canaries supporter for fans of different eras, and a keepsake for years to come.

"We really hope you enjoy collecting - make sure to let us know on social media when you've completed your album!"

Once you have 10 or fewer stickers left to collect, bring your album to the EDP and Evening News offices on Rouen Road to purchase the remaining stickers you need.

For a full list of shops selling sticker albums and sticker packets, which are both priced at £1, head to pinkun.com/stickers. Stickers will also be available from Pinkunshop.co.uk from Thursday as well.

FROM CARROW ROAD TO WEMBLEY

The stickers are here - and what a lot of them there are too!

To put it into some sort of context, let's explain: there are 500,000 packets each containing five stickers, so that's a grand total of 2,500,000 individual stickers.

Each stickers is six and a half centimetres long, so, if you lay them all down in a row, end to end, they will stretch for a staggering 162 kilometres. Or... the distance from Carrow Road to Wembley Stadium, give or take a penalty kick or two. So let's hope for a good cup run then!

Carrow Road's seating capacity is 27,244. So, if you placed one sticker on every seat you could fill Carrow Road 91 times - and still have 20,796 stickers left over!
