Top 40 hit for Hucks and Etuhu

Canaries duo Darren Huckerby and Dickson Etuhu have been ranked among the top 40 players in the Championship for the first half of the season. Huckerby, whose brace of goals helped City to a 4-1 FA Cup third round win at Tamworth at the weekend, is ranked 35th, while midfielder Etuhu is 38th on the Actim Index, the league's official player ratings.

Canaries duo Darren Huckerby and Dickson Etuhu have been ranked among the top 40 players in the Championship for the first half of the season.

Huckerby, whose brace of goals helped City to a 4-1 FA Cup third round win at Tamworth at the weekend, is ranked 35th, while midfielder Etuhu is 38th on the Actim Index, the league's official player ratings.

The statistics show that Huckerby has scored three goals, had 20 shots on target, won 33 tackles, made seven interceptions, gone on 56 dribbles, put in 131 crosses and completed 232 passes.

Etuhu has been the top passer in the Canaries side, with 329. He has also scored three goals, his becoming from 17 shot son target. The midfielder has won 52 tackles, made 35 clearances, 32 interceptions, gone on 16 dribbles and put in seven crosses.

Also in the top 100 are defender Jason Shackell, who is 40th, and leading scorer Robert Earnshaw, who is ranked 54th.

Goalkeeper Paul Gallacher is ranked 103rd, which puts him 13th among the stoppers.

Huckerby is the Championship's 14th-ranked striker, while Earnshaw is 16th.

Etuhu is the ninth-ranked midfielder and Shackell 13 among defenders.

Stats for Norwich players see Huckerby top of the crossing and dribbling list, Etuhu top of the passing and skipper Adam Drury top tackler. Earnshaw's 58 shots on goal put him top of the shots on target list.
