Rotherham United boss Paul Warne won’t be in the dug-out for Saturday’s encounter with Norwich City after a member of his family tested positive for coronavirus.

The Millers boss has entered a two week period of self-isolation after the positive test was confirmed.

Warne will keep in close contact with his assistant manager Richie Barker from home via a video link during Saturday’s encounter. The Millers boss will also miss Rotherham’s trip to Nottingham Forest the following week.

In a statement published on their official website, Rotherham confirmed that the member of Warne’s family wasn’t displaying symptoms of the virus and remained in good health.

Warne has subsequently taken two tests, both of which have come back negative.

The Millers boss remains in good health and provisions have been made at their training ground to ensure he can still oversee training sessions and take team meetings - all virtually.
