About 200 Norwich City season tickets were left to be snapped up today after they went on general sale at the end of last week.

The Canaries were left with 300 seats up for grabs when the deadline passed for those renewing their tickets and those on the waiting list to claim their places for 2006-07.

And about 100 of those were sold over the weekend, nudging the club closer to their season ticket cap of just over 20,000.

Andrew Cullen, City's director of sales and marketing, said today: “We now have about 200 season tickets left on general sale and these are in all areas of the ground.”

However, these will be on sale initially for just one week, until close of business on Saturday, June 24.

From next weekend, City will then start allocating tickets to the 3,500 fans who have signed up to the Hat-trick Plan, which gives admission to seven games during the season.

Cullen warned: “There will be the opportunity to buy season tickets after the weekend, if we have any left, but choice of seats will be much more limited after that.”
