Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl has vowed his side won't 'wave the white flag' as they travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City tonight.

The Owls have found form in the last few weeks, winning back-to-back Championship games for the first time since promotion from League One.

A 1-0 victory over Stoke on Saturday moved them off the bottom of the division, but Wednesday are still sitting eight points behind 21st-placed Huddersfield. They beat Blackburn the week before.

Since Rohl replaced Xisco Munoz in the Hillsborough dug-out back in October, Wednesday's performances have significantly improved, even if it's taken time to see that work translate into results.

They arrive in Norfolk feeling more confident about their prospects, hoping to continue their good run of form and close the gap to Darren Moore's side to five points.

Rohl has said his side will be attacking the game in the hope of extracting another valuable three points against the Canaries.

"In this league, from my experience in the last weeks, every match is a tough one," Rohl told the Sheffield Star when asked about Norwich. "And we have to be ready again. It’s another away game - it feels like it’s away games right now - but we’ve taken the first points since I arrived, and that’s a good feeling.

"There’s a long way to go, but we’ll prepare on Monday and Tuesday as well as we can, and from there we can go forward... You can see from the past games that my players still believe until the end that they can take something, and this is massive to have this feeling.

"And we have to do that again and again and again - we’re not at our goal, and there’s a long way to go. It says a bit about the league that we’re still where we are (after the last three results), but we won’t raise the white flag."
