Bristol Rovers have been confirmed as Norwich City's FA Cup third-round opponents after beating Crewe Alexandra 4-2 in their clash on Tuesday night.
The League One side will travel to Carrow Road on Saturday, January 6 at 3pm - sandwiched between Championship fixtures at home to Southampton and away to Hull City.
City were drawn against either Crewe or Bristol Rovers in the third round draw after their tie was postponed due to a frozen pitch at Gresty Road.
That was replayed on Tuesday evening, with Matt Taylor's side emerging as 4-2 victors over Crewe courtesy of goals from John Marquis, James Wilson, Anthony Evans and a Ryan Cooney own goal.
The hosts pulled two goals back in the second half through Elliott Nevitt and Aaron Rowe - but it wasn't enough for Lee Bell's side to earn a tie against Norwich.
Ex-Norwich striker Chris Martin is poised for a Carrow Road return with the Gasheads after joining them on a short-term deal in the summer. Rovers currently sit 13th in the third tier, winning six of their opening 19 games this season.
The sides last met in the FA Cup in January 1964, with Rovers beating Norwich 2-1 at the Memorial Stadium. Norwich haven't beaten them in four meetings in the competition.
Norwich did record a 3-0 victory over Bristol Rovers in their last league meeting in the third tier back in May 2010 - with goals from Martin, Oli Johnson and Stephen Hughes securing the win at the Memorial Stadium.
City are expected to confirm ticket details for the clash in due course.
